Here is the vase which won Maria the "PEGGY"

Competing against all  other "BEST of CLASS" winners
 in the Professional category.  The "Peggy" is the
HIGHEST "BEST of SHOW"  AWARD  presented, and
promotes the artist to the  MASTER'S  division!

Now competing in the MASTER'S Division, Maria won
BEST OF CLASS with this huge Cochise vase, depicting
everything imaginable that you would find in a Southwest
desert mural.  Accented with intricate banded designs.

For this beautiful WORK of ART, competing in the MASTER'S
division, Maria was presented an  AWARD of EXCELLENCE
plaque by the Duncan certified teacher's association of Arizona.

This Victorian urn required a combination of glazing
techniques, some carving and an abundance of hand 
painting skills to complete.  The portrait is recessed
and the flowers are embossed.  Trimmed with gold.
